I’ve spent years working in clinical neuromodulation — running TMS programs, developing protocols, synthesizing evidence, educating providers. The work product of that experience lives in scattered documents, internal emails, forum posts, and conversations that no one outside my immediate professional circle has ever seen.
That changes here.
mricks.io is where I publish the work I’m already doing, in a form that’s accessible to clinicians, researchers, and anyone interested in the real-world practice of brain stimulation.
You’ll find three kinds of content:
Clinical Reviews — evidence syntheses of neuromodulation protocols and indications. Not abstracts, not press releases. The actual literature, critically evaluated, with clinical implications made explicit.
Practical Guides — operational frameworks for running brain stimulation programs. Scripts for handling patient questions, implementation steps for off-label protocols, provider education materials. The stuff that lives in institutional knowledge and rarely gets written down.
Essays — broader reflections on neuroscience, the translational gap between research and practice, and what it means to work at the frontier of a field that’s still figuring itself out.
